Jiuzhaigou Valley is an amazing historical and nature site in Northern Sichuan, China. It seems like a heaven on Earth, a dream-like place. The valley is home to many bright blue and green lakes, several waterfalls, mountains and rare wildlife.
Nuorilang Waterfall is one of the treasures of Jiuzhaigou Valley, the widest waterfall in Jiuzhaigou. It is regarded as the symbol of the scenic area and is considered as one of the six most beautiful waterfalls in China. Nuorilang Waterfall is 32 meters (about 105 feet) wide spanning a ridge and 25 meters (about 82 feet) tall with a smooth top floor.
Nuorilang Fall is one of the main attractions in Jiuzhaigou Valley. There is an observation tower on the opposite side of the waterfall. Travelers can have a panoramic view of the whole waterfall standing on the tower. When the sun shines in the morning, flowery rainbows can be seen in the sky, which make the waterfall more charming and splendid. In winter, the waterfall usually forms a huge ice curtain with countless icicles hanging on the cliff, creating a rare ice crystal world.
