You have seen so many exclusive luxury hotels throughout the world. But have you ever seen a hotel where you stay in an underwater aquarium? No kidding, it’s a real hotel in Sweden named Utter Inn. It is a floating hotel and the bedroom is 10 feet beneath the water surface.
Utter Inn is lies on the Lake Malaren in Vasteras, Sweden. It is the brainchild of a local artist and sculptor Mikael Genberg. He has chosen to focus on making art for the public and the Utter Inn is one of these arts. It is really a unique hotel not only in Sweden both also on the whole planet.
The underwater hotel Utter Inn looks like a typical Swedish red house floating on the surface of the lake water. And the accommodation for the guests lie under this red house. You need to enter the underwater hotel through this red house. Another interesting thing about this unique hotel is that it is a single room hotel. This room has only twin beds and a table.
The hotel room has windows on every wall and it offers a different kind of view than you normally get in a hotel. Guests of Utter Inn can swim, sunbathe or watch the fish both from upstairs and downstairs at the hotel. It’s a remarkable feeling to go to bed while the fish surround and watch you carefully.
